VIVANT.ECO is an innovative wine tasting experience platform, aiming to educate about organic/biodynamic wines. This online platform is designed to allow wine enthusiasts and novice users to build their tasting skills and discover more about the wine world, though interactive live experiences, led by expert wine advisors. Each experience is unique and offers a range of educational graphics to help the user digest the heavy information.
The VIVANT maps were drawn to popularize the complex geographic data. That information is fundamental to understand the differences between tasted wines and locations of the grape varieties.
Almost 20 maps were designed to showcase the diversity of grape production in France, Italy, Spain and Germany regions. Each map was hand drawn and required a deep research process to gather information from official wine data online sources. The user was able to enjoy an online printed version inside the Tasting kits, and an offline dynamic broadcasted version during live experiences. Each version was adapted according to print sustainability requirements (white print = less ink) and web readability (dark background = more contrast and eye comfort)
Offline maps were printed the old fashion way, following a 24 sides folded Michelin map. Online maps were resized to be showcased on different formats such as socials, email, and VIVANT.ECO website.
